The Single Point of Contact (SPOC) Office provides a vital link to the University for professional students seeking access to its many services and resources. SPOC serves as an on-campus concierge for our busy students, a "one-stop-shop" that quickly addresses all types of student concerns. The SPOC staff takes a student-centered personal approach to handling student needs, accommodating each request on an individual basis - ensuring that even on a large campus of 35,000, our students always feel connected.

Credit programs
Students can communicate by e-mail or phone with a personal representative in the SPOC office who will provide assistance with issues ranging from initial inquiries through graduation. The extensive list of services provided includes facilitation of the application, admission, registration, and payment processes, as well as providing information about financial aid, books, ID cards, and library access. SPOC staff is well informed and equipped to address students' needs, as well as direct students to the appropriate campus facilities for additional help or information.

Non-Credit Programs
In addition to the above mentioned services, SPOC provides support for professional development (noncredit) programs offered by OPS or campus departments. We provide online registration and payment processing services, as well as confirmations, receipts, reports, and Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
Cost: $20 per registration; $15.50 per CEU certificate

"Thanks for your time. Your
program truly amazes me, the response time, course choice, and the design. It took me weeks of paperwork and time for my admissions thru another university. So I guess I can say, GO Terps!"

--Josh Eckenrode (newly admitted student in Master of Life Sciences program)
