The Office of Professional Studies developed the Master of Professional Studies (MPS) and Graduate Certificate of Professional Studies (GCPS) to offer organizations a high degree of flexibility while providing an all-important interdisciplinary approach to learning. Our programs are built from a group of core courses and electives taken from across multiple subject areas. And classes are offered where you choose, when you choose, in the method that you choose, so your employees get what they need when they need it.

OPS provides access to the University of Maryland's vast community of world-class faculty and resources. Your organization will be supported by a team of professionals who handle student admission, registration and the many other administrative and support services needed to ensure a successful program.
